GP Aragón-MotorLand-Espagne (13/19)/Essais-1 : Cal Crutchlow (M1) sort de sa tanière !

Pilote remplaçant de Franco Morbidelli (M1) dans un premier temps, puis de Maverick Viñales après le départ de l’Espagnol, Cal Crutchlow (M1) a signé le 3e temps de la première journée du GP d’Aragón.

Jack Miller, jusque-là crédité du 5e temps ce matin en FP1, est parvenu à boucler un tour en 1’47.613 en FP2 pour devancer Aleix Espargaró pour un peu moins de 3/10e de seconde, tout comme Cal Crutchlow (Yamaha YZR-M1-Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP), une fois de plus associé à Fabio Quartararo (Yamaha YZR-M1-Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP) ce week-end, (+0.284), qui passera du 12e temps matinal au 3e de la FP2  ! Le Britannique battait ainsi Johann Zarco, mais aussi Jorge Martín et Francesco Bagnaia.

8e ce matin, Fabio Quartararo a conclu sa journée avec le 7e temps devant Marc Marquez. 19e et 22e, les deux pilotes Petronas Yamaha SRT : Valentino Rossi (Yamaha YZR-M1) et Jake Dixon (Yamaha YZR-M1) sont à 1 seconde et 2.3 secondes de Miller.

A noter que Andrea Dovizioso, ex-Yamaha Tech3, sera bien au guidon de la Yamaha YZR-M1-Petronas Yamaha SRT #04 allouée à l’origine à Franco Morbidelli, puis à Cal Crutchlow pour remplacer l’Italo-Brésilien, puis à Jake Dixon. Andrea Dovizioso fera ses débuts à Misano dans 8 jours. Enfin en attendant son rétablissement, Cal Crutclow restera remplaçant de Franco Morbidelli qui retrouvera cette saison Fabio Quartararo dans l’équipe officielle.

La prochaine séance (FP3) se tiendra ce samedi à 10h55 avant la FP4 à 13h30 et les qualifications Q1 à 14h10 et Q2 à 14h35 en direct sur les chaînes Sports du Groupe Canal+.
